Want to join our Clay Membership or work in any clay studio with confidence? This course will cover the fundamentals of the clay process, professional practices around equipment use, clay storage, and the procedures of the art center’s clay studio. Minimize risk and protect yourself, your work, and the equipment with the knowledge of how the studio operates.

This course is required for all new Clay Members.

CLAY SAFETY 101

  • Clay Safety 101 is for all new Clay Members. To access your full Clay member benefits we ask that you first take this workshop so you can enjoy open studio time safely.

  • This workshop includes a tour of the clay studio with in depth demonstrations on how to operate equipment, informs you of our clay studio procedures, and sets you up for success in our studio space.

  • We still recommend you take this workshop to know the ins and outs of how our studio operates. Every studio is different, and has its own procedures and we want all our members to be on the same page.
    We can also waiver certain individuals based on demonstrated expertise.
