Storytelling Meets Improv

From collaborative tales to random prompted stories, this fully-facilitated program is sure to be full of fun and laughter. No writing or performance experience is required. Bring your imagination, listening skills, and willingness to go with the flow.

Facilitator: Patt (Patricia) Gilmore is a graduate of the Commercial Actor’s Studio in Los Angeles with a background in Improvisational Theater. Patt leads groups in various activities that get their brain cells firing through imaginative fun.

From rocks to paint, the workshop will walk through the ancient process of creating a usable paint from naturally occurring pigments in the earth! Learn the origins of paint-making practices and take home your own hand-made paint. Enhance your painting practice with the wisdom of how your tube of paint came to be.

  • Clay Safety 101 is for all new Clay Members. To access your full Clay member benefits we ask that you first take this workshop so you can enjoy open studio time safely.

  • This workshop includes a tour of the clay studio with in depth demonstrations on how to operate equipment, informs you of our clay studio procedures, and sets you up for success in our studio space.

  • We still recommend you take this workshop to know the ins and outs of how our studio operates. Every studio is different, and has its own procedures and we want all our members to be on the same page.
    We can also waiver certain individuals based on demonstrated expertise.
