LAC Volunteers
As a Non-Profit we rely on volunteers to help us maintain a positive impact on our community.
Whether you are a student looking to complete service hours, an artist looking to gain experience and network, or a community member looking to support the arts in Leesburg, we would love to have you join us!
Available Opportunities
Volunteers can help support the arts in Leesburg in many ways. Take a look at some of the opportunities we have for how you can get involved!
Membership Group Leadership: the TAA is our members group with leadership positions available!
Studio Assistant: Kids Classes recurring on Tuesdays during the school year
Special Events Logistics: Help manage the LAC tent at community events
Summer Camp Assistant: One week camps for 6 weeks starting in June
Guest Services/Receptionist: Front desk support and greeting visitors
Office Assistant: help with regular administration tasks
Gallery Opening Reception Crew: hospitality table, membership info and pouring drinks

INTERNSHIP
Unpaid internships for college students, recent graduates, and graduate students are available throughout the year on a full or part-time basis. Opportunities may last two months or longer. Academic credit may be arranged for interns at their school's discretion.
Applicants should follow the standard application procedure. Letters or essays should describe specific areas of interest within the Center, precise dates for the proposed internship, and number of hours per week the applicant is able to work. Applications should be made at least 6 weeks prior to the proposed starting date, address to claire@leesburgarts.com. Different areas of concentration are available, including gallery, teaching adults and children, and much more.
