Martin Cushman Memorial Giving
Longtime fixture in the local art world, brilliant artist/potter Martin Cushman passed away on February 12, 2026 after a long illness. His legacy lives on in his beautiful Florida Faience art pottery. A perennial supporter of children's art programs, Martin was always happy to teach a child interested in his craft. In order to honor his legacy, his family has requested donations to the Leesburg Arts Center's Kids program in lieu of flowers or cards.
