Robert Pearson, PhD: Bob dabbled in art throughout his career, taking classes at such institutions as the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (Philadelphia) and the Carnegie Institute (Pittsburgh). He set aside art for many years to pursue other interests (and earn a living) but always fell back on it when he grew weary of work that seemed only to push paper from his desk to someone else’s. His art is based on color pencil, ink, watercolor, oil, and acrylics and has appeared in juried shows and exhibitions throughout Florida and Michigan. He is currently Vice President of the Mt. Dora Art League.
