More about your instructor:
Becky Sloan is a macramé artist who resides with her husband Ed, and their menagerie of pets in Leesburg, Florida. Originally from PA, Becky was a juried member of the Berks County Guild of Craftsman with a focus in decorative painting. In search of a new medium, multiple trips to stores to locate a macramé plant hanger for the garden made it clear that there was a void. The “do it yourself” in her led to a business venture in the art of macramé. Becky and Ed Sloan own and operate KnotsnPots, a macramé business which focuses on beautiful plant hangers, wall hangings, curtains, and more. Once popular in the 1970’s, macramé has become all the rage again. Yesterday it was a “hippie” craft. Today, macramé is trendy, chic and bohemian. In a world full of stress, macramé is a serene and peaceful craft, and Becky wants to share its revival with others.
